This page allows you to copy the tax codes created in one company to others in the group, if similar codes are applicable to them. Through a link in this page you can also view a log containing a list of errors if copying fails.
Select the “Copy Tax Group / Code” link under the “Tax Rule Definition” Business component.
The “Copy Tax Group / Code” page appears.
Enter details in the following fields in the “Tax Group / Code Details” group box:

Tax Type |
Use the drop-down list to select the required tax type code (Alphanumeric, 25). The available tax types appear in the list. Tax type is the code for the type of tax, for example, TDS, Income Tax, SER. |

Tax Region |
Use the drop-down list box to select the required tax region (Alphanumeric, 10). The region codes relating to the tax type code you chose will appear in the drop-down list box Tax region is the place where the tax declaration is required to be made.. |

Bulk Copy |
Use the drop-down list box to select from the options Code/Group to copy tax code or tax group respectively. When “Group” is chosen, active groups fetched by the search will be copied to the destination companies chosen in the Multiline. Similarly, when “Code” is chosen, active Codes fetched by the search will be copied to the destination companies chosen in the Multiline. |

The system displays the following fields in the “Company Information” multiline:

Company Code |
The code identifying the company applicable to the tax type and tax region entered. |

Company Name |
The name of the company. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the in the “Company Information” multiline against the required destination company.
Click the “Copy” pushbutton to copy the group / code details to the destination company.
