View Tax Rule Engine

This page allows you to view the details of the tax rule engine. You can also view tax codes though a link provided.

Select the “View Tax Rule Engine” link under the “Tax Rule Definition” business component.

The “View Tax Rule Engine” page appears.

Tax Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the required tax type.

First value in the list is displayed as default on launch of the page.

On change of tax type the system loads Rule Id list box with all Rule Ids defined for the selected tax type and default tax community.

Tax Community

Use the drop-down list box to select the required tax community.

The first value in the list is displayed as default on launch of the page.

On change of Tax community the system fetches all the Rule Ids defined for the selected Tax type - Tax community combination.

Rule ID.

Use the drop-down list box to select the required rule id.The first rule id in the list appears as default on launch of the page.

The system loads the list box with all the Rule Ids defined for the Tax type - Tax community combination.

The system displays the following fields on selection of the rule ID:

Date From	The system fetches the “from” date for the rule id on selection of rule id.
To	The system fetches the “to” date for the rule id.

The system displays the following fields in the “Parameter Details” multiline on change of rule id:

Sequence Number	System generated sequence numbers.
Tax Region	Theapplicable tax region for the page criteria entered.
Tax Category	The tax category applicable to the entered criteria.
Tax Class	The tax class applicable to the entered criteria
Tax Group	User defined group to which Items / TCDs / Usage Ids are mapped that is applicable for the entered criteria
Assessee Type	The type of assessee applicable.
Threshold Criteria	The field displays one of the following values: 'Party Based', 'Order Based' or blank as applicable.
Quantity/Value	One of the following values is displayed: 'Quantity', ‘Value’, or blank as applicable.
Threshold Limit From	The threshold limit from, if applicable is displayed.
Threshold Limit To	The outer limit of the range, if any is displayed.
Tax Code	User defined code, which is applicable for the entered criteria is displayed.
Code Type	Code type Regular or Surcharge.
Date From	The start date of the effective date for the rule engine.
Date To	The end date for the rule engine.

The system displays the following fields:

Created By	The login ID of the user who set the tax rule engine.
Created Date	The date on which the tax rule engine was set.
Modified By	The login ID of the user who modified the rule ID
Modified Date	The date on which the rule ID was modified.

To proceed, carry out the following

Select the “View Tax Code” link at the bottom of the page to view the tax codes.
