Select the “Tax Rules” link under the “Taxation Reports” business component.
The “Tax Rules” page appears.
Enter the following fields:

Tax Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the tax type for which you want to view the tax rules. The applicable tax types that are defined in the “Tax Setup” component will be available for selection. The system displays the first value by default on the launch of the page. |

Tax Region |
Use the drop-down list box to select the tax region for which you want to view the tax rules. The valid tax regions for the selected “Tax Type” which is defined in the “Tax Setup” component will be available for selection. The system displays the first value by default on the launch of the page. |

Tax Community |
Use the drop-down list box to select the tax community for which you want to view the tax rules. The valid tax community for the selected “Tax Type” which is defined in the “Tax Setup” component will be available for selection. The system displays the first value by default on the launch of the page. |

Search For |
Use the drop-down list box to select the values that you want to search for to view the tax rules. You can select from “Items”, “Tax”, “Charges”, Discount” and blank. The system displays blank by default on the launch of the page. |

Tax Group |
A code identifying the tax group for which you want to view the tax rules. (Alphanumeric, 10). The tax group must have been defined in the “Tax Setup” component. The tax group must be valid and available in the active status. |

Tax Category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the tax category for which you want to view the tax rules. The valid tax category for the selected “Tax Type” and “Tax Community” which is defined in the “Tax Setup” component will be available for selection. The system displays the first value by default on the launch of the page. |

Tax Class |
Use the drop-down list box to select the tax class for which you want to view the tax rules. The valid tax class for the selected “Tax Type” and “Tax Community” which is defined in the “TSET” component will be available for selection. The system displays the first value by default on the launch of the page. |

Assessee Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the assessee type of the tax reports. The applicable assessee type, which is defined in the “QCD” component, will be available for selection. The system displays blank by default on the launch of the page. |

Quantity / Value |
Use the drop-down list box to select the quantity / value of the tax reports for which you want to view the tax rules. You can select from “Quantity” or “Value”. The system displays blank by default on the launch of the page. |

Threshold Criteria |
Use the drop-down list box to select the threshold criteria of the tax reports for which you want to view the tax rules. You can select from “Party Based”, “Order Based” or blank. The system blank by default on the launch of the page. |

Threshold Limit From |
The starting number in the range of numbers identifying the threshold limit number for which you want to view the tax rules. (Integer). The number entered must be valid. |
|
Threshold Limit To |
The ending number in the range of numbers identifying the threshold limit number for which you want to view the tax rules. (Integer). The number entered must be valid. |

Usage ID. / Item Code / TCD Code |
A unique code identifying either the usage ID, item code or the TCD code, for which you want to view the tax rules. (Alphanumeric, 128). The Usage ID or Item Code or TDC Code must be valid and defined in the “Tax Setup” component. |

Date From |
The dates in the range of dates identifying the starting date from which you want to view the tax rules. (Date Format). |

Date To |
The dates in the range of dates identifying the ending date upto which you want to view the tax rules. (Date Format). |
Click the “View” pushbutton to view the tax rules report.
Click the “Print” pushbutton to print the tax rules report.
