This page allows you to map the tax type to the tax region for a declaration year.
Select the “Map Tax Type Tax Region” link under the “Create Declaration Calendar” page.
The “Map Tax Type Tax Region” page appears.
The system displays the following fields under group heading, “Declaration Year Details”:

The declaration year selected in the create declaration calendar page (Alphanumeric, 10). |

Status shows as DRAFT |

The description given in the create declaration calendar page (Alphanumeric, 40) |
Enter the following fields in the Multiline Details:

Tax Type |
Use the drop-down list in the combo box to select the tax type. The type of tax for example VAT and TDS. Tax type combo list has all the tax types for which tax region is mapped. |

Tax Region |
The place where the tax declaration is to be made. Enter the required tax region, or use the help facility. If the year previous year is specified, the system displays the mapping of that previous year in the multiline; else the multiline will not display data. Tax region selected for a tax type should be valid. |

Note: Multiple declaration years not permitted. The same Tax type – tax region combination must not have overlapping declaration year. For example Year 1 is from January 2003 to December 2003, and Year 2 is from April 2003 to September 2003. If you map the same tax type – tax region combination to both these years, the same period from April 2003 to September 2003 falls under two tax years. This will show an error message. Same combination of tax type to tax region cannot be repeated.
Click the “Map Tax Type - Tax Region” pushbutton to map the tax type – tax region to the declaration year.
The system saves the declaration year code, year description, periods, status, and the mapping made to the declaration year code and displays a success message. The page refreshes with mapped data. The status of the declaration year after the mapping is updated to “Fresh”.
The system updates the login ID of the user and the system date to the “Created By” and the “Created Date” fields.
The system displays the following fields:

The login ID of the user who mapped the tax type – tax region to the declaration year. |

Created Date |
The date on which the mapping was done. |
