Copy Declaration Year

Copy Declaration Calendar

This page allows you to copy the declaration year defined in one company to other companies in the same installation. This helps you to avoid duplication of effort. You can copy the declaration year, the start date, the end date, the periods within the declaration year and the region mapping. The activity allows you also to create the declaration year as well as to authorize the creation.

Select the “Copy Declaration Year” link under the “Tax Setup” Business component.

The “Copy Declaration Calendar” page appears displaying the login company name.

Enter the following field in the “Declaration Year Details” group box:

Declaration Year

Use the drop-down list box to select the declaration year you require to copy.

The drop-down list box contains all the declaration year codes, whose status is not “Closed”. On launch of the page the default value is blank.

On choosing the declaration year, the system displays the 'Description', 'Start date', 'End date', 'Status' corresponding to the chosen year.

Note: The system displays the following fields in the “Declaration Year Details” group box:

Desc.	The description of the declaration year.
Status	Status displayed can be “Draft”, “Fresh” ” or “Active.”
	Draft – indicates that the year is not mapped to tax region.
	Fresh – Indicates a declaration that is mapped to the tax region.
	Active – Indicates a declaration calendar that has been authorized.
Start Date	Starting date for the declaration year.
End Date	Ending date of the declaration year.

Enter the following fields in the “Declaration Year Details” group box:

Copy Region Mapping

Use the drop-down list box to make your choice. The drop-down list box has both “Yes” and “No” options. On launch of the page the default option is “Yes”..

Copy Option

Use the drop-down list box to choose your option. If you choose “No” in “Copy Region Mapping” field, you must only choose “Create” under “Copy Option”. Similarly, if the status of the declaration year to be copied is “Draft” you must choose only the “Create” option. The drop-down list box has two options, “Create”, “Create & Authorize”. The system defaults the field with “Create”.

The status on copying the details will be “Fresh” when the “Create” option is chosen, and “Active”, when the “Create & Authorize” option is chosen.

On making your choices in the “Declaration Year Details” group box the “Company Information” multiline displays the codes and the names of those companies that have at least one combination of Tax Type – Tax Region as that of the login company, but does not have the same declaration year code.

The system displays the following fields in the “Company Information” multiline:

Company Code	The code of the company other than the login company that satisfies the conditions.
Company Name	The name of the company represented by the code.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline against the code of the company to copy the declaration year details to the selected company.

Note: The system supports multiple selections of companies to simultaneously copy the declaration year details.

Click the “Copy” pushbutton to copy your selection to, and save the details in, the database of the required destination companies.
