This page allows you to view the mapping of the tax category to account type definitions. Account types can be mapped to user defined tax categories. This activity allows you to view the details.
Select the “View Category Account Type Definition” link under the “Tax Setup” Business component.
The “View Mapping details ” page appears.
Enter the following fields:
Tax Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the required type of tax. On launch of the page this field is blank. The list contains the Tax types mapped to the company in CPS |
Tax Community |
Use the drop-down list box to select the required tax community. On launch the page this field is blank. The list box contains all the all the values of tax community linked to the tax type. |
Tax Category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the required category of tax. On launch of the page the field is blank. The system loads the list box with the user defined and predefined tax categories having status “Active” applicable for the tax type – tax community combination. |
The system displays the following fields:

The system displays the following fields in the “Tax Account Type Details” Multiline:
Tax Account Type |
On selecting the tax type, tax community and tax category, the system fills the multiline with all Tax Account Type records available for the Tax Type, Tax Community, Tax Category combination |

Created By |
The login ID of the user who created the mapping. |
Created Date |
The date on which the mapping was created. |
Last Modified By |
The login ID of the user who last mapped or unmapped. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the mapping was last modified. |
