The “Create Tax Remittance Request” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Workflow Status

The status of the document as per Workflow Applicability.

Remittance Request No.

The remittance request number for the request you require to create, (Alphanumeric, 18).

The system displays the following field in the “Remittance Request Information” group box:

Status

The status of the tax remittance request.

Request Date

The system date appears in the field as default on launch of the page. Enter the required date, (Date format) Mandatory. Request date must be less than or equal to the system date and must be greater than or equal to the transaction date of the selected records.

Finance Book Id.

Use the drop-down list box to select the required finance book Id. First value in the list is displayed as default on launch of the page.

Numbering Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the required numbering type. If the numbering type is selected as manual, Request number cannot be Null. First value in the list appears as default on launch of the page.

Tax Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the required tax type. The first loaded value is displayed as default on launch of the page. The combo would be loaded with TDS, TCS, and SER if applicable for the company.

Note: Provisional Credit for Service Tax Payable by Service Receiver' parameter in Tax Calculation - Set function parameter is set to NO then the combo would not be loaded with SER.

Tax Region

Use the drop-down list box to select the required tax region. Tax region is the place where the declaration of tax is required to be made. The first value loaded in the list box is displayed as default on launch of the page.

Tax Class

Use the drop-down list box to select the required tax class.

Tax class is a code that identifies the sub transaction type for reporting purposes, specified by the tax authorities.

The first loaded value is displayed as default on launch of the page.

Note: For tax type SER, Tax class would be loaded Blank.

Assessee Group

Use the drop down list box to select the assessee Group.  Assessee group is the group of Assessee type defined by the tax laws in force. The system displays first value as default value.

Note: For tax type SER All would be loaded and defaulted.

Transaction Date From

The transaction date from which you require to start the search (Date format).

To

The end date to define the range of search (Date format).

Party Type

Use the drop down list box to select the required party type. The list holds values "Supplier" and "Customer". The first value in the list is displayed as default.

Party Code From

The party code from which to launch the search (Alphanumeric, 40).

To

The end code to define the range of search (Alphanumeric, 40).

Transaction Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the required transaction type. The system displays “All” as default value on launch of the page.

Transaction No. From

The transaction number from which to launch the search  (Alphanumeric, 18).

To

The end transaction number to define the range of search (Alphanumeric, 18).

Transaction Instance

Use the drop-down list box to select the required transaction instance. The system displays the login OU Instance, if it is loaded in the combo. Else, it displays the first value in the list.

Finance Book

Use the drop-down list box to select the required finance book in which the transactions have been created. First value in the list is displayed as default on launch of the page.

Due Date From

The due date from which to launch the search (Date Format).

Due Date To

The end due date to define the range of search (Date Format).

The system displays the following fields in the “Transaction Details” multiline:

Party Type

The party type applicable to the transaction.

Party Code

The code identifying the party.

Party Name

The party name applicable to the party code.

Assessee Type

The type of assessee.

Transaction Instance

The transaction instance.

Transaction Type

The type of transaction.

Transaction No.

The serial number assigned to the transaction.

Transaction Date

The date of the transaction.

Taxable Amount

The amount chargeable to tax.

Tax Amount

The amount of tax for the transaction.

Due Date

The due date of payment of tax.

The system displays the following field in the “Payment Information” group box:

Pay Amount

The pay amount is the sum of all the amounts of the transactions selected for remittance. This is a display only field.

Payee

The name of the payee (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory

Pay Date

The date for payment (Date Format). Mandatory. The system displays the system date as default. The pay date must be greater than or equal to the request date and the system date.

Payment Voucher Numbering Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the required numbering type for payment voucher. The numbering type applicable to the company for transaction type, ‘sundry payment’ will be displayed in the list. If the default value is not available, the system displays the first available value.

Payment Point

Use the drop-down list box to select the required payment point. The system displays the first value in the list as default.

Payment Method

Use the drop-down list box to select the required payment method. The system displays the first value in the list as default.

Payment Route

Use the drop-down list box to select the required payment route. The system displays the first valid payment route from the list as default.

Pay Mode

Use the drop-down list box to select the required pay mode.

Priority

Use the drop-down list box to select from the options "High", "Medium" or "Low". The system displays the value "High" on launch of the page.

Bank / Cash Code

Use the drop-down list box to select the required code. The system displays the first value in the list as default.

Description

The applicable description for the bank/cash code selected. Display only.

Remarks

Enter remarks as necessary (Alphanumeric, 100).

 

Zoom facility available.

Payment Voucher No.

The number identifying the auto generated payment voucher. This number will be displayed on authorization of remittance request.

Treasury

Name of the treasury in which the amount is deposited.

Note: The control “Treasury” is visible when the Tax Type is selected as EXCISE.

The system displays the following fields in the “Voucher Information” multiline:

Transaction No

The Journal voucher number generated.

Transaction OU

The Organization Unit in which the inter fb Journal was generated.

Transaction Type

The type of Journal voucher.

Finance Book

The Finance Book in which interfb Journal voucher was generated

Transaction Amount

 The Transaction Amount .

Note: This section will be displayed only when InterFb Journal voucher is generated.

On clicking the “Create Request” pushbutton, the system checks whether the records selected have their status as "Incorporated" and that any of the transactions is not already included in another remittance request in "Fresh" status. The system saves all the information and the screen refreshes with the saved details.

The system also displays the following fields:

Created By

The login ID of the user who created the tax remittance request.

Created Date

The date on which the tax remittance request was created.
