Maintain Party Certificate Information

Select the “Maintain Party Certificate Information” link under the “Tax Settlement” business component.

The “Maintain Party Certificate Information” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Party Details” group box:

Tax Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the tax type Mandatory. Tax type is the type of tax for example TCS and TDS. On launch of the page the system displays the first value loaded in the list box as default.
Tax Region	Use the drop-down list box to select the required tax region. Tax region is the place where the tax declaration is required to be made. On launch of the page the system displays the first value loaded in the list box as default.
Party Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the required party type from options: “Supplier”, and “Customer”.
Party Code	The required party code (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory
	Help facility available.

The system displays the following field in the “Party Details” group box:

Party Name

The name corresponding to the party code is displayed.

Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to obtain details in the multiline.
Enter the following fields in the “Certificate Generation Details” multiline:

Tax Class

Use the drop-down list box to select the tax class for which the details are to be maintained. Mandatory.

Tax class identifies the sub transactions type for reporting purposes, specified by the tax authorities.

The field is blank on launch of the page. The system displays the saved data corresponding to the party code, if any.

Certificate Frequency

Use the drop-down list box to select the frequency required for the tax class. Mandatory. The field is blank on launch of the page. The system displays the saved data corresponding to the party code, if any.

Check the box in the select column of the multiline to select the records for saving them.
Click the “Save Details” pushbutton to save the data entered or modified.

The details are saved and the screen refreshes with the saved details.

The system also displays the following fields:

Created By	The login ID of the user who created the certificate information.
Created Date	The date on which the party certificate information was created.
Last Modified By	The login ID of the user who last modified the certificate information.
Last Modified Date	The date on which the certificate information was last modified.
