This page allows you to modify, delete, and authorize the modification made in the tax remittance record selected by you. You can also use search criteria to fetch transaction details to append to the details already there in the multiline. This helps you to add additional transactions, if required, to the tax remittance request.
Select the “Edit Tax Remittance Request” link in the “Select Tax Remittance Request” page.
The “Edit Tax Remittance Request” page appears.
Note: The “Edit Tax Remittance Request page can be reached from the “Select Tax Remittance Request” page in two ways. 1. By clicking the hyperlink of the tax remittance request number appearing in the multiline, or 2. By entering the tax remittance request number on the first field in the page and by clicking the “Edit Tax Remittance Request” link.
The system displays the following.
Workflow Status |
The status of the document as per Workflow applicability. |
The system displays the following fields in the “Remittance Request Information” group box:

Modify the following field in the “Remittance Request Information“ group box field, if required:
Request Date |
Modify date if required (Date format). |
The system displays the following fields in the “Remittance Request Information” group box:
Finance Book Id. |
The finance book Id is displayed. |
Numbering Type |
The numbering type of the request is displayed. |
Tax Type |
The tax type of the request is displayed. |
Tax Region |
The tax region of the request is displayed. |
Tax Class |
The tax class of the request is displayed. |
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box, if you need to fetch more transactions into the multiline to use in your modification:
Assessee Group |
Use the drop down list box to select the assessee Group. Assessee group is the group of Assessee type defined by the tax laws in force. The system displays first value as default value. |
Note: For tax type SER All would be loaded and defaulted.
Transaction Date From |
The transaction date to start the search (Date format). |
To |
The end date to define the range of search (Date format). |
Party Type |
Party type applicable is displayed. |
Party Code From |
The party code from which to start the search (Alphanumeric, 40). |

The end code to define the range of search (Alphanumeric, 40). |
Transaction Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the transaction type. |
Transaction No. From |
The transaction number from which to start the search (Alphanumeric, 18). |

Finance Book |
Use the drop-down list box to select the required finance book in which the transactions have been created. First value in the list is displayed as default on launch of the page. |

The due date from which to start the search (Date format). |
Due Date To |
The end due date to define the range of search (Date format). |
Click the “Get Details” pushbutton to add the search results to the multiline.
The system displays the following fields in the “Transaction Details” multiline:
Party Type |
The type of party in the transaction. |
Party Code |
The code identifying the party. |
Party Name |
The name applicable to the party code. |
Assessee Type |
The type of assessee. |
Transaction Instance |
The transaction instance applicable. |
Transaction Type |
The type of transaction. |
Transaction No. |
The serial number of the transaction. |
Transaction Date |
The date of the transaction. |
Taxable Amount |
The amount chargeable to tax. |
Tax Amount |
The amount of tax. |
Due Date |
The due date for payment of tax. |
Check the box in the select column of the multiline to select the required transactions.
The system displays the following field in the “Payment Information” group box:
Pay Amount |
The pay amount is the sum of all the amounts of the transactions selected for remittance. This is a display only field. |
Modify the following fields in the “Payment Information” group box, if required:
Payee |
To whom the payment is to be made. Enter the name of the payee (Alphanumeric, 40). Mandatory |
Pay Date |
The date for payment (Date format). Mandatory. The pay date must be greater than or equal to the request date and the system date. |
Payment Voucher Numbering Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the required numbering type for the payment voucher. |
Payment Point |
Use the drop-down list box to select the required payment point. |
Payment Method |
Use the drop-down list box to select the required payment method. |
Payment Route |
Use the drop-down list box to select the required payment route. |
Pay Mode |
Use the drop-down list box to select the required pay mode. |
Priority |
Use the drop-down list box to select from the options "High", "Medium" and "Low". |
Bank / Cash Code |
Use the drop-down list box to select the required code. |
Description |
The system displays the applicable textual description for the bank/cash code selected. |
Remarks |
The remarks as necessary (Alphanumeric, 100). |

Payment Voucher No |
The number identifying the auto generated payment voucher. This number will be displayed on authorization of remittance request. |
Treasury |
Name of the treasury in which the amount is deposited. |
Note: The control “Treasury” is visible when the Tax Type is selected as EXCISE.

The Organisation Unit in which the interfb Journal was generated. |

Note: This section will be displayed only when InterFb Journal voucher is generated.
Click the “Edit Request” pushbutton to modify the request, but not to authorize it.
On clicking the “Edit Request” pushbutton, the system checks whether the records selected have their status as "Incorporated" and that any of the transactions is not already included in another remittance request in "Fresh" status. The system saves all the details on the page and the page refreshes with the saved details.
Click the “Edit And Authorize Request” pushbutton to modify and also to authorize the request.
The tax remittance request is saved and the page refreshes with the saved details.
Click the “Delete Request” pushbutton to delete the transactions from the tax remittance request.
The selected records are deleted and a message indicating that the records are successfully deleted appears.
The system also displays the following fields:

The login ID of the user who created the tax remittance request. |

The date on which the tax remittance request was created. |

The login ID of the person who modified the request last. |

The date on which the tax remittance request was modified. |
