Maintain UOM Multilingual Description

This activity allows you to modify the Unit of Measurement (UOM) description in different languages. The “Maintain UOM Multilingual Description” page allows you to search and select the UOM for modification. You can modify the UOM description that is already defined. You can carry out a search using the UOM code and UOM description. The system will retrieve all the UOMs matching the search criteria en]tered.

Select the “Maintain UOM Multilingual Description” link under the “UOM Administration” business component.

The “Maintain UOM Multilingual Description” page appears.

Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box:

UOM	The code identifying the UOM to be modified (Alphanumeric, 10). You can enter the code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.
UOM Desc.	The description of the UOM to be modified (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character.
	Zoom Facility Available
Status	Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the UOM. The system displays the options, “Active”, “All” and “Inactive”. The system sets this field to “All” by default.
Language	Use the drop-down list box to select the language in which UOM information to be displayed. The system displays the Application and Report languages defined in the application like, “All”, “English”, “German”, “French”, “Italian”, “Japanese” and “Chinese”. The system sets this field “All” by default.
UOM Creation From Date	The starting date in the range of expected dates from which the UOM details must be retrieved (Date Format).
UOM Creation To Date	The ending date in the range of expected dates from which the UOM details must be retrieved (Date Format).

Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.

The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the specified search criteria:

UOM	The code identifying the UOM.
Language	Displays the language in which UOM description is described.

Modify following fields in the “Search Results” multiline, if required:

UOM Desc.

The description of the UOM (Alphanumeric, 40).

The system displays the following details:

Status	The status of the UOM.
Created by	The login ID of the user who created the UOM.
Created Date	The system date on which the UOM was created.
Last Modified by	The login ID of the user who last modified the UOM details.
Last Modified Date	The date on which the UOM was last modified.

Click the “Update UOM Desc.” pushbutton to modify and update the UOM description.

The system saves the modified description if the reference description is different from the previously defined one in the database for the reference code.
