This page allows you to view the details of the UOM class available in the database. You can carry out a search by entering the UOM class and UOM description. The system will retrieve all the UOM classes based on the search criteria. Details such as the class, description and base uom are displayed along with the name of the user who created or modified the UOM, and the date on which the UOM was created or modified will be retrieved and displayed in the “Search Results” multiline.
Select the “View UOM Class” link under the “UOM Administration” business component.
The “View UOM Class” page appears.
Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box:
UOM Class |
A group of UOMs grouped into a class. It may be some predefined uom class or a uom class defined by you. |
Description |
The description of the uom class. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the specified search criteria:

Automatic Conversion |
The system displays either “YES” or “NO”. If “YES”, the system automatically does the conversion and if “NO” is displayed the conversion has to be done manually. |
Base UOM |
The uom class against which the uom conversions are defined. |
Created by |
The login id of the user who created the UOM class. |
Created Date |
The system date on which the UOM class was created. |
Last Modified By |
The login id of the user who last modified the UOM details. |
Last Modified Date |
The date on which the UOM class was last modified. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline.
Select the “View Item Independent UOM Conversion” link at the bottom of the page to view the conversion factor.
