Help on UOM

This Help page allows you to search and select a UOM code and transfer the details to the field where it is required.

You can search for a site by specifying the UOM code and UOM description as the filter criteria. Based on the specified search criteria, the system retrieves all the UOM codes that are in “Active” status. The selected UOM code is transferred to the required page when the OK button is executed.

Click the lens icon positioned next to the “UOM Code” field.

The “Help On UOM” page appears.

Enter the following in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a UOM code. Data entry in the following fields is optional.

UOM	A unique code identifying the UOM (Alphanumeric, 10). You can enter the UOM code in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the UOM codes” that match the UOM code entered here. Leave this field blank to search for the UOMs irrespective of the UOM code.
UOM Desc.	A textual description of the UOM (Alphanumeric, 40). You can enter the UOM description in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system retrieves all the UOM descriptions that match the UOM description entered here. Leave this field blank to search for the UOMs irrespective of the UOM description.
UOM Class	A group of UOMs grouped into a class. It may be some predefined UOM classes or a UOM class defined by you.
UOM Class Desc.	The description of the UOM class.
	Zoom facility available.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.

The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered:

UOM	The code identifying the UOM.
UOM Desc.	The textual description of the UOM.
Decimals Allowed	Specifies whether the UOM can be used with fractions while recording transactions.
UOM Class	The code identifying the UOM class.
UOM Class Desc.	The description of the UOM class.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select a UOM code.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
