Help on Unit Family

This page helps you to search and select the unit family number for transferring the details to the field where it is required. You can specify the range of unit family number, status, unit family description, latest version and parent unit type. Based on the search criteria specified, the system retrieves the corresponding details in the multiline. The selected unit family number with its details is transferred to the required page when it is confirmed.

Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Unit Family No.” field.

The “Help on Unit Family.” page appears.

Enter the following details in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Family No. From	The starting range of the unit family number for which you wish to search and retrieve the details.
Family No. To	The ending range of the unit family number until which you wish to search and retrieve the details.
Status	Use the drop-down list box to select the unit family number status. The combo is loaded with "All", “Active” and “Inactive”. The system displays ‘All” by default on launch of the page.
Unit Family Description	The detailed description of the unit family for which you wish to search and retrieve the details.
Parent Unit Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the parent unit type for which you wish to search and retrieve the details. The combo is loaded with all the parent unit types that are defined as Parent Unit Category through Maintain codes activity for the code type – unit category. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.
Latest Version No.	A unique number identifying the latest version of the unit family number for which you wish to search and retrieve the details.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results in multiline.

The system displays the following details in the “Search Results” multiline.

Unit Family No.	A unique number identifying the unit family.
Unit Family Description	The detailed description of the unit.
Latest Version No.	A unique number identifying the latest version of the unit family.
Status	The status of the unit family number.
Parent Unit Type	Indicates the parent unit type of the unit family.

Click the ‘OK” pushbutton.

The system transfers the selected unit family number and its details to the required page.
