This page allows you to select a customer group code for which the details are to be modified or deleted. You can directly specify the value of the customer group code and edit it. Incase you are not sure about the customer group code or if you want to delete multiple customer group codes; you can carry out a search by specifying the customer group related details in the search criteria. The search result is displayed in the multiline. You can select the customer group codes from the multiline and delete them.
You can modify the details of the customer group code, by selecting the “Edit Customer Group” link.
Select the “Edit Customer Group” link under the “Customer” business component.
The "Select Customer Group" page appears.
Enter the following field:

Customer Group Code |
The code identifying the customer group. (Alphanumeric, 6) |
Select the “Edit Customer Group” link at the bottom of the page to edit the customer group code details.
Enter the following details in the “Search Criteria” group box:

The code identifying the customer group (Alphanumeric, 6). |

Customer Group Desc |
The description of the customer group code (Alphanumeric, 40). |

Controlled Group |
Use the drop-down list box to select whether the customer group is user-defined or system defined. The options available are “Yes” and “No”. The system displays “Yes” as the default value on launch of the page. |

Customer Code |
The code identifying the customer belonging to a particular customer group (Alphanumeric, 16). |

Customer Name |
The name of the customer corresponding to the customer code (Alphanumeric, 40). |

Group Type Code |
The code pertaining to the group type of the customer. If controlled group field is set as "Yes", the group type code field must be "Tax", "Price", "Bill", "Disct", "Authn", "Dun", "Aging", "Reprt", "Rappl", "Accnt", "CC" or "SR". If controlled group is set as “No”, the “Group Type Code” is user-defined. |

Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the customer group code. The options available are “Active”, “Inactive” and “Both”. The system displays “Both” as the default value on launch of the page. |
Click the Search pushbutton.
The system displays the following details in the “Search Results” multiline with “Active” status.

The status of the customer group code. The status must be “Active” or “Inactive”. |
Check the “Select” column of the multiline.
Click the “Delete” pushbutton to delete the selected customer group code.
The Last Modified By is populated with Login OU. The status gets updated to “Cancelled”.
To proceed, carryout the following:
Select the “Edit Customer Group” link at the bottom of the page to modify the customer group.
