This page helps you to search and select a forecast group for transferring the forecast group details to the calling page where it is required.
You can enter in the search criteria and search the forecast group details. You can specify the forecast group, the level of the forecast, item/planning group, customer or project details in the search filter. For the combinations specified, the system retrieves the corresponding details in the multiline. The selected row containing the forecast group details is transferred to the required page when it is confirmed.
Click the lens icon positioned along the “Forecast Group” field.
The “Help On Forecast Group” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:
Forecast Group |
The unique code identifying the forecast group. |
Desc. |
The description of the forecast group. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the forecast group. You can select from “Active”, “Draft” or “Inactive”. The system displays “Active” by default on launch of the page. |

Forecast Level |
Use the drop-down list box to select the level of the forecast group. The system displays “Item” by default on launch of the page. The various forecast levels are |

Customer |
The name of the customer for the forecast group. |
Project |
The name of the project for the forecast group. |
Matl. Planner |
Use the drop-down list box to select the material planners defined in the control unit. The system populates the values from the control unit master of the “Organization Model” business component along with a blank value. The system displays “Default Material Planner” defined for the login user by default on launch of the page. |
Plg. Group |
The code identifying the planning group for which the forecast is created. |
Item Code |
The code identifying the item for which the forecast is created. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the forecast details.
For the combinations specified in the search criteria, the system retrieves the forecast group details to the multiline using “%” operator if only a single field is specified.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

The number identifying the forecast reference generated by the system. |
Item Type |
The type of the item. |
Plg. Group |
The code identifying the planning group of the forecast. |
Item Code |
The code identifying the item of the forecast. |

The code or number identifying the variant of the item. |
Desc. |
The description in the combination of the item/item variant. |
Plant |
The plant where the item/planning group is valid. |
Warehouse Code |
The code or number identifying the warehouse where the item/planning group is valid. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the forecast details.
Click the “OK” pushbutton to transfer the forecast group to the main screen.
