This page facilitates you to search a forecast reference for transferring the forecast reference details to the calling page where it is required.
You can specify in the search criteria and search the reference and group of the forecast along with the planning group or item details. You can also enter the plant and the warehouse where the item/planning group is identified. Based on the details specified in the search criteria, the system retrieves the corresponding results in the multiline. The selected row containing the forecast reference details is transferred to the required page when it is confirmed.
Click the lens icon positioned along the “Forecast Ref.” field.
The “Help On Forecast Reference” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Forecast Ref. |
The code identifying the reference of the forecast. |

Forecast Group |
The code identifying the group of the forecast. |

Item Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the item. You can select from “Component”, Consumable”, “ Finished Product”, “Intermediate”, “Pack”, “Raw Material”, “Spare Part” or “Tool”. The system displays “Raw Material” by default on launch of the page. |

The code identifying the planning group. |

Item Code |
The code identifying the item. |

Variant Code |
The code or number identifying the variant of the item. |

Plant |
The plant where the item/planning group is valid. |

Warehouse Code |
The code or number identifying the warehouse where the item/planning group is valid. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the forecast reference details.
For the combinations specified in the search criteria, the system retrieves the forecast reference details to the multiline using “%” operator if only a single field is specified.
The system displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline:

The code identifying the group of the forecast group. |

The number identifying the forecast reference generated by the system. |

The type of the item. |

The code identifying the planning group of the forecast. |

The code identifying the item of the forecast. |

Variant Code |
The code or number identifying the variant of the item. |

Plant |
The plant where the item/planning group is valid. |

Warehouse Code |
The code or number identifying the warehouse where the item/planning group is valid. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the forecast reference details.
Click the “OK” pushbutton to transfer the forecast reference to the main screen.
