Edit Consumption Demand Category

This activity allows you to modify the different demand categories. Tell me more

Select the “Edit Consumption Demand Category” link under the “Demand Planning“ business component.

The “Edit Consumption Demand Category” page appears.

The system displays the following:

BU Id	The business unit defined for the login user. The system displays “Default Business Unit” defined for user Login Organization Unit by default on launch of the page. For the business unit, if the consumption demand category is already defined, then the system displays the corresponding details.
	Zoom facility available.

The system displays the following in the “Demand Categories” multiline:

Demand Category

The demand categories available are “Plg Order (MRP)”, “Plg Order (Manual)”, “Plg Order (Repetitive)” or “Plg Order (Hierarchy)”.

Modify the following if required:

Consume Prodn. Forecast	Use the drop-down list box to select the production forecasts to be consumed. You can select from "Yes" or “No". The system displays “No” by default on launch of the page.
Consume Exploded Forecast	Use the drop-down list box to select the exploded production forecasts to be consumed. You can select from "Yes" or “No". The system displays “No” by default on launch of the page.

Note: The system displays “Yes” by default for the demand category that represents “Plg Order (MRP)”, “Plg Order (Manual)”, “Plg Order (Repetitive)” or “Plg Order (Hierarchy)”.

Check the box in the "Select" column of the multiline to select the demand categories for modifying its details.

Click the “Edit Consumption Demand Category” pushbutton to modify the consumption demand category.

The system updates the demand categories for the forecast group.

The system updates the login ID of the user to the “Edited By” and the system date to the “Edited Date” field.

The system displays the following:

Created By	The login ID of the user who created the consumption demand category.
Created Date	The date on which the consumption demand category was created.
Edited By	The login ID of the user who modified the consumption demand category.
Edited Date	The date on which the consumption demand category was modified.
