Performance Measurement – An Overview

This report gives you the picture on the efficiency of jobs completed on time on a specific date and for the respective month. The report displays the status of jobs scheduled on the work orders. This report also considers the tolerance days and helps to measure the performance of the activities undergone in the shop floor. This report is ascertained at resource level for monitoring the bottleneck resources over a period of time.

This page allows you to set the criteria to generate a report for a set of resources. You can generate a performance measurement report for a specific resource or for a range of resources. The control unit that identifies the department to which each resource belongs can also be set as a part of the criteria. You can also specify the tolerance days and the date on which the jobs are completed in the search criteria.

The report is generated based on the run date and the tolerance days. Run date refers to the anchor date and the tolerance days refer to the number of days that are added or deducted from the run date. Based on the specified tolerance days, the job scheduling process changes. The report displays the number of jobs completed on schedule, jobs in due, jobs ahead of schedule, jobs behind the schedule and the percentage of completion on work orders. Let us consider an example to determine the jobs scheduled on work orders for the specified run date with and without tolerance days.
