This report is a transaction report. Report Information.
Select the “ECR History Details” link under the “DP Reports”.
The “ECR History Details” page appears.
Enter the following field in the “Report Filters” group box:
ECR No. |
The number identifying the engineering change request. Mandatory. |
ECR Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the engineering change request. You can select from “Active”, “InActive”, “Authorized”, “Resolved” or “Implemented”. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page. The options available are: |

EC Need Date From |
The starting date in the range of dates on which the engineering change is required. If this field is left blank, then the system displays the current date as “EC Need Date From”. |
EC Need Date To |
The ending date in the range of dates on which the engineering change is required. |
Maintained By |
Use the drop-down list box to select the “Maintained By” control unit for which the login user has EC permissions. The system retrieves the control units from the “Organization Model”. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page. |
Item Code |
The code identifying the item under engineering change. |
Variant Code |
The code or number identifying the variant of the item under engineering change. |
Requested By |
The person who is responsible for requesting the engineering change. |
Click the “Generate Report” pushbutton to view the history details of the engineering change requirement for the specified ECR number and ECR need date range.
The system retrieves the ECR details in ascending order based on the filter condition specified.
If ECR Need Date From is specified, then the system retrieves the ECR details for those ECR numbers whose ECR Need Date is greater than or equal to the EC Need Date From. If the EC Need Date To is also specified along with from date then the system retrieves the ECR details between the specified date range of EC Need Date.
If ECR Need Date To is specified, then the system retrieves the ECR details whose ECR Need Date is less than or equal to the EC Need Date To.
If ECR number is not specified. Then the system retrieves all ECR numbers based on the filter condition specified.
ECR History Details – An Overview
This report gives you the history details of all Engineering Change Request (ECR)(s) raised during the specified period.
This page allows you to set the criteria to generate ECR history details for a specific ECR. You must specify the ECR and the need date or the range of need dates in the search filters. The control unit that identifies the ECR can also be set as a part of the criteria. You can also specify the status, item or requested by as a part of the filter criteria.
On generating the report, the system displays all the transactions based on the specified criteria. The system retrieves and displays the ECR, the person requesting the ECR, date of request, need and effective date, status of item under engineering change along with the new revision detail.
