ECR Status Report – An Overview

This report provides a summarized display of all the items, product structures and process plans under engineering change. Each of the report is displayed based on the existence of the items, components and the process plans for the selected Engineering Change Request (ECR).

This page allows you to set the criteria to generate an ECR status report for a specific ECR. You must specify the ECR and the need date or the range of need dates in the search filters. The control unit that identifies the ECR can also be set as a part of the criteria. You can also specify the status, item, component item or activity as a part of the filter criteria.

On generating the report, the system displays all the transactions based on the specified criteria. The system retrieves and displays the following three reports:

4 ECR Status Report by Item Details – Displays the items, current item revision details, new item revised details along with the effective dates. This report explodes the status of all the items under engineering change for the selected ECR.

4 ECR Status Report by Component Details – Displays the component items, component item revision details, replacing item details along with the useup dates or the effective dates. This report explodes the status of all the component items under engineering change for the selected ECR.

4 ECR Status Report by Process Plan Details – Displays the activities and the effective dates. This report explodes the status of all the process plans under engineering change for the selected ECR.

All the transactions are displayed for the business unit, ECR, status, need date and type of ECR.
