Help On ECR No.

This page allows you to search and select the engineering change request using the search criteria and transfers the same to the main screen. You can initiate the search on entering the number identifying the engineering change request along with the description, status and type of the engineering change request details in the header. On initiating the search, the system retrieves the corresponding results in the multiline and the selected details are transferred to the main screen.

Click the lens icon positioned along the “ECR No” field.

The “Help On ECR No.” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:

ECR No.	The unique number identifying the engineering change request.
ECR Desc.	The description of the engineering change request.
	Zoom facility available.
ECR Status	Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the engineering change request. You can select from "Active", "Inactive", "Authorized", "Resolved" or "Implemented".
ECR Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the type of engineering change requests. You can select from "Engineering", "Production", "Subcontracting" or "All".The options available are:
	All – indicates that all the process plans/product structures are under engineering change
	Engineering – indicates that the process plans/product structures categorized as “Engineering” are under engineering change.
	Production – indicates that the process plans/product structures categorized as “Production” are under engineering change.
	SubContracting – indicates that the process plans/product structures categorized as “Subcontract” are under engineering change.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the engineering change request details in the “Search Results” multiline.

The system retrieves all ECR number details based on ECR No, ECR status, ECR Type in the specified order.

The system displays the following details in the “Search Results” multiline

ECR No.	The number identifying the engineering change request.
ECR Desc.	The description of the engineering change request.
ECR Status	The status of the engineering change request.
ECR Type	The type of the engineering change request.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the resource.

Click the “OK” pushbutton to transfer ECR No details to the main screen.
