Help On PS No

This activity helps you to search and select the product structure and transfers the same to the main page. You can initiate the search on entering the product structure, the status of the product structure, the category, item, control unit along with the plant and warehouse where the item is identified fields in the search criteria. On specifying the details, you can initiate the search operation. The system retrieves the corresponding results that match the criteria. Otherwise, the system does not retrieve any details. The selected details are transferred to the calling page when it is confirmed.

Click the lens icon positioned along the “PS No” field.

The “Help On PS No” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:

PS No.	The unique number identifying a product structure.
PS Desc.	The description of the product structure.
	Zoom facility available.
Status	Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the product structure. You can select from “Active”, “Draft” or “Inactive”.
PS Category	Use the drop-down list box to select the category of the product structure. You can select from “Production”, “Costing”, “Engineering” or “Sub contracting”.
Warehouse Code	The code identifying the warehouse where the item is identified or specified.
Plant	Use the drop-down list box to select the valid plants where the item is valid.
	Zoom facility available.

Item Code	The code identifying the output item of the product structure.
Variant Code	The variant code of the item.
Desc.	The description of the item.
	Zoom facility available.
Maintained By	Use the drop down list box to select the “Maintained By” control units for which the login user has access permission.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the product structure details in the “Search Results” multiline.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

PS No.	The number identifying the product structure.
PS Desc.	The description of the product structure.
	Zoom facility available.
PS Category	The category of the product structure. It can be “Production”, “Costing”, “Engineering” or “Sub contracting”.
PS Usage	The usage of the product structure. It can be “Standard”, “Alternate1”, “Alternate2” or “Alternate3”, “Alternate4”, “Alternate5”.
Item Code	The code identifying the output item of the product structure.
Variant Code	The code or number identifying the variant of the item.
Desc.	The description of the item.
Valid From	The date from which the product structure of the item is valid.
Valid To	The date till which the product structure of the item is valid.
Plant	The plant where the item is valid.
Warehouse Code	The code identifying the warehouse where the product structure is defined.
UOM	The production unit of measurement.
Status	The status of the product structure.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark the product structure.

Click the “OK” pushbutton to transfer the PS No to the main page.
