Using online help

This page allows you to specify the model details for the order line number entered. A model is a configurable sales item whose components can be chosen based on product attribute choices and other options as exercised by the customer. This page also enables you to specify shipping details for the model items.

The order line number is entered for which the additional model details are to be added. Based on the line number selected, the model item details are displayed. The shipment details for the model items are recorded using this page.

The "Additional Model Details" page appears

The system displays the following details:

Order Status

The status of the sale order.

Order No.

The unique number identifying the sale order.   

Amendment No.

The number identifying an amendment made on the sale order. Every time the sale order is successfully amended, the system increments the amendment number by one.

Order Date

The date on which the sale order was created.

Order Line No.

The number identifying the sale order line (Integer).

The system displays the following details based on the Order line number entered:

Item Code

The code identifying the item code.

Variant Code

The code identifying the item variant.

Item Variant Desc.

The description of the item variant.

 

Zoom facility available.

Item Type

The item type for the sale order item.  The system displays “Model” by default on launch of the page.

Shipping Point

The point from where the item type model is shipped to the delivery area.

The system displays the following fields in the “Model Item details“ mulitline:

Item Code

The code identifying the model item code.

Variant Code

The code identifying the model item variant.

Item Variant Desc.

The description of the model item variant.

Ship Together

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the goods are to be shipped together or not. You can select from either “Yes” or “No”. The system displays “Yes” by default on launch of the page. If “Yes” is selected, then the constituents of the model will be shipped only when the requested number of quantity is available in the warehouse. If the “No” is selected, then the constituents of the model can be shipped even when the requested number of quantity is not available in the warehouse. In that case the available number of quantity in the warehouse is shipped first and when the item is stocked again the remaining quantity is shipped.

Warehouse Code

The code identifying the shipping location warehouse at which the specified quantity of the item is available (Alphanumeric, 10). This will be the standard warehouse for items.

 

Help facility available.

The system saves all the additional model details to the Sale Order created.

If any one number of the Model is Issued with "Ship Together" status as "Yes" then for any model bill Item it cannot be converted to "No" and vice-versa.
