Basics of using Ramco Enterprise series web page

Using online help

This activity allows you to assign permissions to access the master data or production planning or production reporting. You can define the permissions depending upon the job responsibility of a user and restrict unauthorized users to access the system. You can identify the user name by entering manually or by making use of the help facility to modify the permissions. On retrieving the user name, the system displays the default control unit defined for the login user.

You can define the control units for the selected user name in the multiline through this screen. You can either enter the control unit if the same is known or can make use of the help facility to retrieve the control units defined. For each control unit, you can specify the transaction, reporting and engineering change permissions. Apart from modifying the user permissions, you can also delete the permissions given to the users. To delete the permissions, you need to select the appropriate rows in the multiline and delete the selected rows. Upon modifying or deleting the necessary permissions, you can update the changes made to the user permissions.

The “Edit User Permissions” page appears.
