Serial No. Details [Models/Kits]

This page allows you to view the serial number details for models/kits. For a specific pack slip number, all the reference numbers pertaining to the models/kits are retrieved. Based on the reference and allocation number selected, the pick order and serial number details are retrieved and displayed in the respective fields in this page.

Select the “Serial No. Details for Models/Kits” link at the bottom of “Maintain Pack Slip” page.

The “Serial No. Details [Models/Kits]” page appears.

The system retrieves and displays the following pack slip details:

Pack Slip No.	The number identifying the pack slip. The system checks for the existence of models for the selected pack slip and also checks if the “Item Code” and “Variant Code” are model code and variant code. If no model exists, then the system displays an error message. It also checks if any of the item within the model is serial controlled. If so, it displays an error message.
Pack Slip Date	The date on which the pack slip was created.

Enter the following detail in the “Pick Order Details” group box:

Model / Kit Ref. No.	Use the drop-down list box to select the reference number identifying the code of the model and its variant or the code of the Kit. The system populates all the reference numbers that have serial controlled items.
Allocation Line No.	Use the drop-down list box to select the number identifying the line allocated to the item at warehouse. The system populates all the allocation line numbers for all the selected model/kit.

The system retrieves and displays the following details based on the allocation line number selected in the “Pick Order Details” group box:

Allocation Method	The method in which the items specified in the pack slip is allocated in the warehouse. It can be “LIFO”, “FIFO”, “Maximum Zone/Bin”, “Minimum Zone/Bin” or “Manual”.
Item Code	The code identifying the item.
Item Variant	The code identifying the item variant.
Item Variant Desc.	The description of the item variant.
Pack Slip Qty.	The quantity of item for which pack slip is made.
Pack Slip Allocated Qty.	The quantity of item that can be allocated for dispatch from the pack slip quantity. This quantity should be less than pack slip quantity.
UOM	The unit of measurement of the item in the pack slip.
WareHouse Code	The code identifying the warehouse from which the goods must be dispatched.
Zone	The number identifying the zone within the warehouse.
Bin	The number identifying the bin where the item is maintained.
Lot No.	The number identifying the lot number of the item.
Lot Qty.	The quantity of item available in a specific lot number.

The system displays the following field in the “Serial No. Details” multiline:

Serial No.

The number identifying the serial number of the item for which the issue is made from inventory.
