Basics of using Ramco Enterprise series web page

Using online help

This page allows you to search and select the process plan and transfers the same to the main page. You can initiate the search on entering the process plan, the description of the process plan, the item of the process plan, production controller details. You can also select the status, type and category of the process plan along with the control unit and business unit details in the search criteria. You can specify a single field or a combination of fields in the search criteria. The system retrieves corresponding results that match the criteria in the multiline. Otherwise, the system retrieves blank records in the multiline. These details are transferred to the main page when it is confirmed.

The “Help On PP No.” page appears.

Process Plan No.

The number identifying the process plan. The system retrieves all the process plan details that match the process plan no.

PP Desc.

The description of the process plan.

 

Zoom facility available.

Status

Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the process plan. The system displays “Active” by default on launch of the page. The options available are:

 
  • Active – indicates valid process plan.

 
  • Draft – indicates incomplete process plan.

 
  • Inactive – indicates invalid process plan.

PP Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the user-defined types of the process plan. The system retrieves the types from the “Create Types” page of the “Organization Model” business component. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.

PP Category

Use the drop-down list box to select the category of the process plan. The system displays “Production” by default on launch of the page. The options available are:

 
  • Production – indicates the process plan used for production purpose.

 

  • Costing – indicates the process plan used for costing purpose.

 
  • Engineering – indicates the process plan under engineering change control.

 
  • Subcontract – indicates the process plan used for the item that is sub-contracted.

 

  • Rework – indicates the process plan used for the item that is reworked.

Item Code

The code identifying the item of the product structure.

Maintained By

Use the drop-down list box to select the “Maintained By” control units for which the login user has “View” access permissions. The system retrieves the control units from the “Organization Model” business component. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.

Prodn. Controller

Use the drop-down list box to select the production controllers control units for which the login user has “Transaction” permission. The system retrieves the control units from the “Organization Model” business component. The system displays “First Value” by default on launch of the page.

Plant

Use the drop-down list box to select the valid plants. The system retrieves all the warehouses Organization Unit to which Process Model Organization Unit is mapped. The system displays the “Warehouse OU” by default on launch of the page.

Business Unit

Use the drop-down list box to select the valid business units associated with the process plan. The system displays “Login Business Unit” by default on launch of the page.

For the combinations specified in the search criteria, the system retrieves the process plan details to the multiline using “%” operator if only a single field is specified.

The system displays the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

PP No.

The number identifying the process plan.

PP Desc.

The description of the process plan.

PP Type

The user-defined type of the process plan.

PP Category

The category of the process plan.

PP Usage

The usage of the process plan

Item Code

The code identifying the item of the product structure.

UOM

The production unit of measure in which the output item of the process plan is produced.

Status

The status of the process plan.

Maintained By

The “Maintained By” control units for which the login user has access permissions.

Prodn. Controller

The production controllers control units for which the login user has access permission.
