Basics of using Ramco Enterprise series web page

Using online help

This page allows you to maintain the  QC master details.  This page can be launched only if inspection required checkbox is selected.  You can enter the work order number, PS number, PP number and retrieve its details. You can fetch the QC Id’s with the option ”All” or by “Latest”.  You can transfer the selected row to the “Sampling Details” group box where in you can enter the sampling details.  You can define whether an attribute is mandatory or not.  In the “Sampling Details” group box you can define other details such as type of the sample, inspection basis, type of the inspection, number of samples, sample percentage, retention sample, quantity per sample, etc.,  You can attach the notes information by selecting the link at the bottom of the page.

The Maintain QC Masters page appears.

Work Order No.

The unique number identifying the work order. On press of the "Enter" key the system retrieves the work order  details. (Alphanumeric, 18).

 

Help facility available.

The system displays the following details in the group box:

Order Status

The status of the order.

PS No.

The unique number identifying the product structure.  Ensure that the entered PS number exists. (Alphanumeric, 32).

PS Description

The descriptive information of the PS number entered.

PS Category

The category of the PS number entered.

PP No.

The unique number identifying the process plan.  Ensure that the entered PP number exists. (Alphanumeric, 32).

PP Description

The descriptive information of the PP number entered.

PP Category

The category of the PP number entered.

Output Item Code

The unique code identifying the output item.

Variant Code

The unique code identifying the variant of the item.

Item Description

The descriptive information of the item.

PS Status

The status of the product structure.

PP Status

The status of the process plan.

Mfg. UOM

The manufacturing unit of measure

Ref. Inspection Plan

The reference number of the inspection plan.  On press of the enter key the system retrieves the details and displays it in the multiline.  Ensure that the entered reference inspection plan exists. (Alphanumeric, 32).

Inspection Activity Details Tab

This tab allows you to modify the inspection activity details.  You can fetch the QC Ids with the option All or by Latest.  You can transfer the selected row to the Sampling Details group box. 

Fetch QC ID's with

Use the drop-down list box to select whether to fetch the QC ID's by "All" or by "Latest".  The system defaults the value as "Latest" on launch of the page.

The system displays the following details in the "Inspection Activity Details" multiline:

PP Seq.

The number identifying  PP sequence.

Activity Code

The unique code identifying the activity.

Activity Description

The descriptive information of the activity corresponding to the activity code.

Control Point ID

The unique ID identifying the control point.  This ID is generated automatically by the system using parameters.  (Alphanumeric, 50).

The system displays the following details in the "Inspection Activity Details" multiline:

Referred Inspection Plan ID

The unique ID of the reference inspection plan.

Inspection Plan ID

The unique id identifying the inspection plan.  (Alphanumeric, 50).

The system displays the following details in the "Inspection Activity Details" multiline:

Effective From

The date from which the inspection activity is effective.

Effective To

The date till which the inspection activity is effective.

 

 

 

Attribute Details Tab

This tab allows you to modify the attribute details.  You can select the particular attribute and mark whether it is mandatory or not.  Return type of the attribute details can also be chosen.

 

The system displays the following details in the "Attribute Details" multiline:

Attribute

The name of the attribute.

Attribute Type

The type of the attribute.

Attribute Description

The descriptive information of the attribute.

Mandatory

Use the drop-down list box to select whether the attribute is mandatory or not.  The values Yes and No get populated.  The system displays the value Yes as default on launch of the page.

Return Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the return type.  The values "Maximum", "Mean", "Median" and "Min" get populated.

Analysis Method

The analysis method of the attribute. (Alphanumeric, 20).

PP Seq.

The unique Id. identifying the PP sequence. Mandatory.  (Integer).

The system displays the following details in the "Sampling Details" group box:

Activity Code

The unique code identifying the activity.

Activity Description

The descriptive information of the activity.

Control Point ID

The unique ID identifying the control point.

Inspection Plan ID

The unique ID identifying the inspection plan.

Sampling Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the sampling type.  The values "Fixed Size", "Variable Size", "Square Root", "% Based" get populated.

Inspection Basis

Use the drop-down list box to select the inspection basis.  The values "Attribute" and "Check List" get populated.

Inspection Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the inspection.  The values "Normal", "Reduced" and Tightened get populated.

No. of Samples

The number of samples taken for QC (Integer).

Sample Percentage

The sample percentage. (Integer).

CheckList(SOP)ID

The unique Id. identifying the checklist (SOP). (Alphanumeric, 20).

 

Help facility available.

Retention Sample

The number of samples retained  (Integer).

Quantity Per Sample

The value of the quantity  per sample  (Integer).

UOM

The UOM of the sample.  (Alphanumeric, 20).
