Using online help

This page helps you to search and select a reference document for transferring the details to the field where it is required.

You can search by selecting the reference document type or by specifying a range for the document number. You can specify a range for the document date or you can specify the description of the item variant. Based on the search criteria specified, the system retrieves the corresponding details in the multiline. The system retrieves and displays the reference document details along with the status based on the reference document type selected. The selected reference document number is transferred to the required page when it is confirmed.

The “Help On Reference Document” page appears.

Ref.  Doc. Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of reference document. You can select from “RFQ” or “Quotation”.

Doc. No. From

The starting number in the range of reference document numbers for which the details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 18). You can also enter the number in full or specify it partially using the “*” character. The system lists all the reference document numbers that are greater than or equal to the value entered here.

If this field is left blank and the “To” field is entered, then the system retrieves the reference documents starting from the first reference document number till the document number specified in the “To” field.

Doc. No. To

The ending number in the range of reference document numbers for which the details are to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 18). The system lists all the reference document numbers that are lesser than the value entered here. The number entered here must be greater than the number entered in the “Document No. From” field.

Doc. Date From

The starting date in the range of dates from which the reference document details must be retrieved (Date Format). The value entered in this field must be less than or equal to the system date.

Doc. Date To

The ending date in the range of dates from which the reference document details must be retrieved (Date Format). The value entered in this field must be greater or equal than the value entered in the “Document Date From” field.

Item Variant Desc.

The description of the item variant (Alphanumeric, 150).

The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered:

Doc. No.

The number identifying the reference document.

Doc. Date

The date on which the reference document was created.

Status

The status of the reference document. In case of “Reference Document Type” selected as “RFQ”, the status can be either “Fresh” or “Quoted”. In case of “Quotation”, the status can be “Fresh”, “Authorized”, “Amended”, “Ordered” or “Returned”.
