Set System Parameters
This page allows you to set the system parameters for the “Quotation” business component. You can set the parameter to indicate whether a quotation can be created on a pre or post dated dates. This page also permits you to specify if automatic generation of quotation and request for quotation (RFQ) number is allowed or not. The specified system parameter can be changed based on the business requirements.
Ø Select the “Set System Parameters” link under the “Quotation” business component.
The “Set System Parameters” page appears.
Ø Enter the following details:

Allow Quotation To Be Predated/ Post Dated |
Use the drop-down list box to specify whether a new quotation document can be created with a pre or post dated dates. You can select from either “Yes” or “No”. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page. The system ensures that this field is not left blank. |
Note: If this field is set to “Yes”, then you can create quotation on a pre or post dated dates.

Allow Quotation No. To Be Generated Automatically |
Use the drop-down list box to specify if automatic generation of quotation number is allowed or not while creating a new quotation document. You can select from either “Yes” or “No”. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page. The system ensures that this field is not left blank. |

Allow RFQ No. To Be Generated Automatically |
Use the drop-down list box to specify if automatic generation of RFQ number is allowed or not while creating a new RFQ document. You can select from either “Yes” or “No”. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page. The system ensures that this field is not left blank. |

Default Exchange Rate Type |
Use the drop-down list box to select the default exchange rate. The values are populated from the “Exchange Rate” business component. The system ensures that this field is not left blank. |
Note: If the above fields are set to “No”, then the quotation and the RFQ number need to be entered manually. If not entered, the system prompts an error message.
Ø Click the “Set” pushbutton to save the defined parameters.
