This page allows you to search and select the work order and transfers the same to the main page. You can initiate the search by specifying the work order, sale order along with the item and status of the work order details in the search criteria. Further, you can select the control units, category of the work order, plant and the warehouse and initiate the search. Bulk search is also possible by entering the range of start and due dates. You can enter a specific field or combination of fields and the system retrieves all the details that match the criteria specified in the multiline. Otherwise, the system retrieves blank records in the multiline. On retrieving the details, you can select the records to be transferred to the main page when it is confirmed.
Click the lens icon positioned along the “Work Order No.” field.
The “Help On Work Order No.” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:
Work Order No From |
The starting number in the range of numbers identifying the work order by which the details are to be fetched. |
Work Order No To |
The ending number in the range of numbers identifying the work order until which the details are to be fetched. |
Sale Order No. |
The number identifying the sale order. |
Status |
Use the drop-down list box to select the status of the work order. You can select from “Requested”, “Accepted”, “Firmed” or “Released”. The system the displays “First Value” available in the combo (i.e.), if the “Requested” status is not valid for installation, then the other value is taken up as the default value. |
Item Code From |
The starting code in the range of item codes by which the details are to be fetched. |
Item Code To |
The ending code in the range of item codes by which the details are to be fetched. |
Variant Code |
The code or number identifying the variant of the item. |
Start Date From |
The starting date in the range of dates on which the order was created. The system retrieves all the orders created within the specified range. If Start Date From is specified, then the system retrieves all work orders for which the date is greater than or equal to Start Date From. |
Start Date To |
The starting date in the range of dates on which the order was created. The system retrieves all the orders within the specified range. If the Start Date To is specified, then restrict work orders between “From” and “To” Dates. If only Start Date To is specified, then retrieve all work orders with start date equal to the date entered in the Start Date To field. |
Maintained By |
Use the drop-down list box to select the “Maintained By” control units for which the login user has transaction permission. The system retrieves the control units from the “Organization Model” business component along with a “Blank” record. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page. |
Due Date From |
The ending date in the range of dates on which the orderis due. The system retrieves all the orders created within the specified range. If Due Date From is specified, then the system retrieves all work orders for which the date is greater than or equal to Due Date From. |
Due Date To |
The ending date in the range of dates on which the orderis due. The system retrieves all the orders within the specified range. If the Due Date To is specified, then restrict work orders between “From” and “To” Dates. If only Due Date To is specified, then retrieve all work orders with the date equal to the date entered in the Due Date To field. |
Matl. / Prodn. Controller |

Order Category |
Use the drop-down list box to select the category of the work order. You can select from “Sales Forecast Demand”, “Sales Order”, Stock Transfer Request Created in Shipping”, “Inventory Issue/Receipt”, “Abnormal Sales Order”, “Stock Transfer Request Created in DP”, “Stock Transfer Request Suggested by MRP”, “Production Forecast”, “Hierarchy Orders”, “Non-Stockable Order by MRP”, "Non-Stockable Unplanned Order”, “Non-Stockable Repetitive Order”, “Order Released through hierarchy for a Non-Stockable Item”, “Order Released Through Hierarchy for a Stockable Item”, “MRP Order”, “Repetitive Schedule Order”, “Unplanned Order”, “Rework Order”, “Maintenance Order”, “Estimate Order”, “DP Purchase Request”, “Purchase Request Created by POMS”, “Purchase Order Created by POMS”, “Subcontract Request created by DP”, “Subcontract Request Created by POMS”, “Subcontract Order raised by POMS”, “Physical Stock record of an item before Synchronizing the Warehouse Stock”, “Physical Stock Record of an Item after Synchronizing the Warehouse Stock” or “Blank”. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page. |
Reported Date From |
The starting date in the range of dates on which the order is reported. |
Reported Date To |
The ending date in the range of dates on which the order is reported. |
Plant |
Use the drop-down list box to select the plants where the item is identified. The system retrieves all the items Organization Unit to which the Work Order Organization Unit has been mapped along with a blank value. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page. |
Warehouse Code |
The code identifying the warehouse where the item is identified. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the work order details.
The system displays the following details in the “Search Results” multiline:

Item Code |
The code identifying the item. |
Variant Code |
The code or number identifying the variant of the item. |
Desc. |
The description for the combination of item and its variant. |
Receipt Qty. |
The quantity of the item that is to be produced based on the requirements. |

The quantity that represents the sum of the receipt and scrap quantity. |
UOM |
The production unit of measure of the item. |
Start Date |
The start date of the work order. |
Due Date |
The end date of the work order. |
Status |
The status of the work order. It can be “Requested”, “Accepted”, “Firmed” or “Released”. |
Order Category |
The category of the work order. |
Plant |
The plant where the item is identified. |
Warehouse Code |
The code identifying the warehouse where the item is identified. |
Sale Order No. |
The number identifying the sale order. |
Customer Name |
The name of the customer. |
Project |
The name of the project as defined in the Management accounting (MAC). |
Maintained By |
The “Maintained By” control unit for which the login user has access permission. |
Material Planner |
The material planner as defined in the control unit. |
Prodn. Controller |
The production controller as defined in the control unit. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to mark Work Orderdetails.
Click the “OK” pushbutton to transfer Work Order details to the main screen.
