This page allows you to set the parameters for the “Work Order Management” business component. Tell me more

The “Component Parameters” page appears.

Plant

Use the drop-down list box to select the valid plants. The system retrieves all the Organization Units (plants) from the “CIM Model” business component.

Point Of Generation Of SCR / SCO For Sub-Contract Activity

Use the drop-down list box to select the point of generation of SCR/SCO for sub-contract activities. The system displays “Order Release” by default on launch of the page.

 
  • Order Release – indicates the generation of SCR/SCO during release of the work order.

Subcontract Activity To Raise

Use the drop-down list box to specify the status in which sub-contract orders can be generated for Sub-contract activities. The system displays “None” by default on launch of the page.

 
  • None – indicates that the SCO cannot be raised.

 
  • Fresh SCO – indicates that the SCO is pending for authorization.

Precosting At

Use the drop-down list box to select the options that indicates the status at which work order planned costing entries will be integrated with MAC. The system displays " Requested " by default on launch of the page.

 
  • Accepted – indicates that the work order planned costing entries are integrated with the MAC business component when the work order is moved to accepted status.

 
  • Firmed – indicates that the work order planned costing entries are integrated with the MAC business component when the work order is firmed up.

 
  • None – indicates that the work order planned costing entries are not integrated with the MAC business component.

 
  • Released – indicates that the work order planned costing entries are integrated with the MAC business component when the work order is released.

 
  • Requested– indicates that the work order planned costing entries are integrated with the MAC business component when the work order is in requested status

Inspection Level

Use the drop-down list box to select the inspection level.  The values “None”, "Stagewise" and "Final" get populated.

Order Modifier Rules To Be Applied On User Driven

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the defined order modifier rules can be applied. You can select from “Yes” or “No”. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.

Automatic PR Authorization

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether to allow automatic PR authorization. You can select from “Yes”, “No” or “Blank”. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.

Allow Manual Work Order Numbering For Work Orders

Use the drop-down list box to select the options that indicate whether to allow manual work order number generation for work orders. You can select from “Yes” or “No”. The system displays “Blank” by default on launch of the page.

The system saves the newly defined parameters against the plant.
