Using online help

This page allows you to view the header details of the work order. To view the header details, you can enter or select the work order no through the help facility. The system retrieves order category, quantity and the item details of the work order along with the start and due dates of the work order. You can also view the planned quantity, planned dates, minimum and maximum lot sizes details in the screen. The product structure, process plan and sale order details are also displayed for the selected work order.

The “View Work Order Header” page appears.

Work Order No.

The number identifying the work order for which the header details is displayed. Mandatory. The Work Order No should exist and the system displays the corresponding header details of the work order.

The system displays the following:

Order Category

The order category of the work order selected. It can be “STR (Manual)”, “STR (MRP)”, “Planning Order (MRP)”, “Planning Order (Manual)”, “Planning (Repetitive)”, “MRP Order”, “Repetitive Sch”, “Unplanned”, “Rework”, “PR (MRP)”, “Purchase Request”, “Purchase Order”, “SCR (MRP)” or “Blank”.

Status

The status of the work order. It can be “Requested", “Accepted", “Firmed"  or “Released”.

Item Code

The code identifying the item based on which the work order header details are displayed.

Variant Code

The number or code identifying the variant of the item.

Desc.

The description of the item/item variant.

 

Zoom facility available.

Order Qty.

The quantity of the work order. This is the sum of the receipt quantity and scrap quantity.

UOM

The production unit of measure of the item.

Problem

The problems associated to the work order. It can be “Material Problem”, “Capacity Problem”, “Matl & Cap. Problem”, “Engineering Change Problem”, “Order in Past date”, “Other Problems” or “Blank record”.

Start Date

The date on which the work order has to be started.

Due Date

The date on which the work order has to be completed.

No. Of Prints

The number of times the work order is requested in a printed form.

Planned Qty.

The quantity of the work order that is required to be planned.

Batch Size

The batch size of the work order.

Material Planner

The material planner defined in the control unit for which the login user has the access permissions.

Min. Lot Size

The minimum lot size of the work order.

Max. Lot Size

The maximum lot size of the work order.

Prodn. Controller

The production controller defined in the control unit for which the login user has the access permissions.

Planned Start

The expected start date of the work order.

Planned Due

The expected due date of the work order.

WIP Acc No.

The identifier of the WIP cost center. The costs associated with the work orders for which the control unit is responsible are posted to this cost center.

PP No.

The number identifying the process plan defined for the work order.

PP Desc.

The description of the process plan.

PS No.

The number identifying the product structure defined for the work order.

PS Desc.

The description of the product structure.

Valid From

The date from which the item is valid for the specified work order.

Valid To

The date till which the item is valid for the specified work order

Sale Order No.

The number identifying the sale order created for a customer.

Customer Name

The name of the customer. This field is displayed based on the sale order no.

Project

The name of the project as defined in MAC (Management Accounting Module) against which a work order can be generated.

The login user ID and the system date are updated in the “Created By” and “Created Date” fields.

The system displays the following:

Created By

The login user ID of the person who has created the work order header details.

Created Date

The date on which the work order header details was created.

Edited By

The login user ID of the person who has modified the work order header details.

Edited Date

The date on which the work order header details was modified.
