Help On COGS Account

This Help page allows you to search and select a COGS account and transfer the details to the field where it is required. You can carry out a search by specifying the range of account codes that you want to retrieve. You can also search by specifying the description and the finance book in which the account code was defined. The system retrieves the account code based on the search criteria entered.
Click the lens icon positioned next to the “COGS Account” field.
The “Help On COGS Account” page appears.
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box:

Account Code From |
The starting code in the range of COGS account codes that you want to retrieve. (Alphanumeric, 32). |

To |
The ending code in the range of COGS account codes that you want to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 32). |

Description |
The textual description of the COGS account code that you want to retrieve (Alphanumeric, 40). |

Finance Book |
Use the drop-down list box to select the finance book in which the COGS Account is defined. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.
The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Search Results” multiline based on the search criteria entered:

Account Code |
The code identifying the COGS account. |
|
Account Description |
A textual description of the account code. |
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select a COGS account.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
