Create Control For Account Code Usability

This activity allows you to map the account code that will be used specifically in the Infrastructure management solution and for the stores accounting finance book wise. You can also specify whether any attachments required or not for the account code.

Select the “Create Control For Account Code Usability” activity under the “Accounting Setup” business component.

The “Create Control For Account Code Usability” page appears.

- Clicking this icon available near certain fields takes you to the help page of the respective field.

Enter the following details in the header:

Finance Book

Use the drop-down list box to specify the finance book in which the details are posted. The combo would be loaded with all the Finance Books mapped to all the OUs of the Login OU's Company. The system displays “All” by default on launch of the page.

The system displays the following details in the header.

Finance Book Description

The description of the finance book.

Enter the following details in the header:

Account Code From	The starting range of the account code for which the control has to be created.
To	The ending range of the account code for which the control has to be created.

Click the “Search” pushbutton.

The system displays the following details in the multiline.

Finance Book	The finance book in which accounts are to be mapped to allow account postings.
Account Code	The unique code identifying the account code that will be used in Infrastructure Management solution / stores accounting.
Account Description	The description of the account code.

Enter the following details in the multiline:

Specific to Real Estate	Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the account code is specific to real estate or not. The combo is loaded with “No”, “Yes” and “Both”. The system displays “No” by default on launch of the page.
Specific to Stores Accounting	Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the account code is specific to stores or not. The combo is loaded with “No” and “Yes”. The system displays “No” by default on launch of the page.
Attachments Required	Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the attachments are required or not for the account. The combo is loaded with “No” and “Yes”. The system displays “No” by default on launch of the page.

Click the “Create” pushbutton.

The system saves the details.
