This activity allows you to store details about the tank. A tank is a type of warehouse and is configured as zones in the system. The warehouses and zones are defined in the “Storage Administration” business component. Once the tank details are entered in this page, the corresponding zone is then converted into a tank.
The tanks have a unique process of item measurements. The details of the tank and its measurement units are defined in this activity. The stock in tanks can be measured using three modes, namely, level, volume or weight. Other information pertaining to the tank, such as the unit of measurement of the stock in the tank, the minimum and maximum values the tank can hold can be specified.
