Continuous Process – An Overview

Introduction

Process Industries are classified as Batch and Continuous. Continuous processes are unique and quite different from batch industries.  Continuous Process Plants have an array of links through which material flows take place. A Routing scheme determines what products flow in each of the links defined for the plant. This component helps in configuring the plant units so as to capture the production information for continuous processes. It concentrates on capturing the production and consumption details of the items, mainly with the view of information capture for Costing and Production Reporting.
