Parameters are usually set for the system to follow during transactions. This page allows you to set parameters for the “Payables Management” business process chain. You can specify whether settlements can be made across business units. The system saves the parameter and also updates the login ID of the user and the system date along.

The “Set Function Parameters – Payables” page appears.

Allow Settlement Across Business Units

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the documents raised for making payments across the organization units of a business unit, can be settled at the login organization unit. You can select from “Yes” or “No”. The system displays “No” by default on launch of the page.

Editable Check No. for Manual Series Required          

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the Check number for Manual Series can be edited or not.

Editable Check No. for Automatic Series Required

Use the drop down list box to specify whether editable check number for Automatic Series is allowed or not.

Allow Valid LC Documents for Manual Adjustment

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the LC documents for which LC is valid can be used for manual Adjustment. The combo is loaded with options “Debit Documents Only”, “Credit Documents Only”, “Both Debit and Credit Documents” and “No”. The system displays “No” by default on launch of the page.

Allow Expired LC Documents for Auto Adjustment

Use the drop-down list to specify whether LC document for which LC has expired can be considered for Auto Adjustment. You can select from “Yes” or “No”. The system displays “No” by default on launch of the page.

Allow Modification Of Payee Name during Check Printing

Use the drop down list to box to specify whether Modification of payee name during check printing is allowed or not. You can select from “Yes” or “No”. The system displays "Yes" by default on launch of the page

Fetch Exchange rate from Ref. Doc. for Order Based Invoicing

Use the drop down list to box to specify whether the Exchange rate in  this page to be fetched from the Reference Document or not. You can select from “Yes” or “No”. The system displays "No" by default on launch of the page.

Allow Future dated Supplier Payments

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether recording of Future dated instruments are allowed  or Not in Supplier Payment voucher. You can select from “Yes” or “No”. The system displays “Yes” by default on launch of the page.

Allow Future dated Supplier Prepayments

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether recording of future dated instruments are allowed  or not in Supplier prepayment voucher. You can select from “Yes”, “No” or "With Document Reference". The system displays “Yes” by default on launch of the page.

Allow Future Dated Instruments in Supplier Receipt

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether recording of future dated instruments are allowed  or not in Supplier Receipt voucher. You can select from “Yes” or “No”. The system displays “Yes” by default on launch of the page

Action on Unadjusted Debit Document

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether warning message about existence of unadjusted debit documents to be displayed or not during invoicing. You can select from “Warn” or “Ignore. The system displays “Ignore” by default on launch of the page.

Note : Warning message will be displayed if unadjusted debit document exist  in Supplier Order based invoice, Delivery Charges Invoice, Supplier direct item invoice and Expense Invoice.

Allow Back Dated Payments

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether back dated transactions are allowed or not. The combo is loaded with options "Bank", "Cash", "Bank and Cash" and "No".

Allow Back Dated Void Check

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether Check can be voided with a date less than system date or not.

Letter of Credit in Prepayment voucher w/o ref doc Required

Use the drop down list box to specify whether Letter of Credit in Prepayment voucher without reference document is required or not.

Letter of Credit in Expense Invoice Required

Use the drop down list box to specify whether Letter of Credit in Expense Invoice is required or not.

Allow Cash Purchase in Supplier Direct Invoice

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the Cash Purchase in Supplier Direct Invoice allowed are not. The combo would be loaded with  "Yes" and "No".

Post Service Tax Reverse  Charge Amount To Actuals

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether the service tax amount under reverse charge can be posted to Actual accounts or not. The combo is loaded with “Yes” and “No”. The system displays "No" by default on launch of the page.

Currency Wise Rounding Off of Supplier Invoices Required

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether Currency Wise Rounding Off of Supplier Expense Invoice can be allowed. You can select from "Yes" or "No". The system displays "No" by default on launch of the page.

Allow Inter - Company Bank Cash Transfers

Use the drop down list box to indicate whether Bank Cash Transfers across companies allowed or not. The combo would be loaded with "Yes" and "No". The system displays "No" by default on launch of the page..

Auto Generation of Inter FB JV in Sundry payment

Use the drop down list box to select the whether inter FB JV to be auto generated or not. The values would be "No", "Finance Books Mapped to Organization Unit (within the OU Inter fb JV would be generated)" and "Finance Books Mapped to Company (within the company Inter fb Jv to be generated)".

Auto Generate Inter FB JV Across Companies in Sundry Payment

Use the drop down list box to select the whether inter FB JV across companies to be auto generated or not. The values would be "No" and "Yes".

Status of Auto-generated Retention Credit Note

Use the drop down list box to select the status for auto generating the Retention Credit Note. It can be authorized or held.

Centralized Due date Modification

Use the drop-down list box to specify whether Centralized Due date modification can be allowed. You can select from "Yes" or "No". The system displays "No" by default on launch of the page.

Allow Modification of AC Usage in Inv.for 2way PO with No GR

Use drop down list box to specify whether AC Usage can be modified in the invoice for 2 way PO with No GR option. The combo would be loaded with "Yes" and "No"

Invoice Price Variance accounting for Non - Stockable items.

Use the drop down list box to select whether invoice price variance postings to happen at invoice price variance account or ac usage(for adhoc/service) or cwip (for capital item) The combo would be loaded with "To Invoice Price Variance","To CWIP for Capital Items", "To AC Usage for Service/Adhoc item" and "To AC Usage/CWIP for Service, Adhoc/capital item"
