View Cost Center Account Code Mapping

This activity allows you to search and view cost centers mapped for an account code / Account Codes mapped for the cost center. If you know the Cost Center /Account code for which you want to view details of mapping you can enter it directly. Otherwise, you can carry out a blank search without specifying the cost Center/ Account Code. You can also search by specifying the description of the Cost Center/Account Code identifying the mapping. The system retrieves the search results based on the search criteria entered.

This page also allows you to View a report containing the list of cost center / Account Codes that have effective mapping based on the search criteria entered.

Select the “View Cost Center Account Code Mapping” link under the “Cost Setup” business component.

The “View Cost Center Account Code Mapping” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the Account code / Cost Center for which you want to view the mapping details. Data entry in the following fields is optional.

Option

Use Drop Down list to select the option. The option available is “Cost Center Mapped to Account Code“and “Account Code Mapped to Cost Center” (Alphanumeric, 40).

Note: If the Option Cost Center mapped to Account Code is chosen and instead of Account Code if Cost Center is given as input for search then error would be thrown and vice versa

Cost Center	The code identifying the cost center for which you want to view the mapping details (Alphanumeric, 40).
Cost Center Description	The description of the cost center for which you want to view the mapping details (Alphanumeric, 40).
Account Code	The code identifying the Account Code for which you want to view the mapping details (Alphanumeric, 40).
Account Code Description	The description of the Account Code for which you want to view the mapping details (Alphanumeric, 40).
Date	The date for which you want to view the effective mapping. The Date is defaulted with System date on launch of the page.

Click the “Search” pushbutton to retrieve the search results.

The system retrieves and displays the following in the “Cost Center Account Code Mapping Details” multiline based on the search criteria entered:

Cost Center	The code identifying the cost center.
Account Code	The Code identifying the Account Code
Cost Element	The Code identifying the Cost Element
Effective From Date	The date from which the mapping is effective.
Expiry Date	The date on which the effectiveness of the mapping expires.
Cost Center Desc.	The description of the cost center.
Account Code Desc.	The detailed description of the Account Code.
