Setting Chart Options

This page allows you to set the chart options. You can specify the columns for both the X-axis and Y-axis of the graph, besides giving titles.

The “Chart Settings” page appears.

The system displays the following fields:

View Name

The name of the view.

Chart Type

Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the chart. Mandatory. The system lists the options “Area”, “Bar”, “Bar Line”, “Column”, “Discontinuous Label Line”, “Discontinuous Line”, “Label Line”, “Line”, “Pie”, “Regression”, “Stack Bar” and “Stack Column”.

Chart Title

The title you wish to assign to the chart (Alphanumeric, 1000). Mandatory.

Chart Sub Title

The sub-title you wish to assign to the chart (Alphanumeric, 1000).

X-axis Title

The title you wish to assign to the X-axis of the chart (Alphanumeric, 1000).

Y-axis Title

The title you wish to assign to the Y-axis of the chart (Alphanumeric, 1000).

The system displays the following field:

Total Rows

The number of rows, which appear in the result view.

From Row No.

The number of the row, starting from which the details must be considered, for the chart (Integer). Mandatory.

To Row No.

The number of the row, until which the details must be considered, for the chart (Integer). Mandatory.

X-Axis Column

Use the drop-down list box to specify the column for the X-axis in the graph to be plotted. The system lists all the columns defined for the view.

Y-Axis Column

Use the drop-down list box to specify the column for the Y-axis in the graph to be plotted. The system lists all the columns defined for the view.

Note: Multiple Y-Axis columns can be specified for all chart types except “Pie”.
