Define View – A summary of the activity
The “Define View” activity allows you to create a new view or modify the details of an existing view. The ”Specify Procedure Parameters” page allows you to specify the parameters for the procedure to be associated with the view. The “Specify Tables” and “Specify Columns” pages allow you to specify the tables and columns to be associated with the view. The “Specify Joins” page is used to specify the joins applicable to the view.
The “View SQL” and “Specify Procedure Inputs” pages allow you to view the SQL statement and specify the input parameters for the procedure. You can define external links for the view using “Define External Links” page. The “Execute View” page can be used to run and view the results of the SQL statement as the final step in creating/modifying a view.
