This page allows defining the business process chain (BPC) node and the node (position) at which business components are to be listed under the BPC node.

The “Business Process Chain Definition” page appears.

Parent Node ID

The identifier of the parent node indicating the business process chain (BPC) node under which the business components (child nodes) are to be listed.

Help facility available.

The system displays the following:

Parent Node Name

The name of the parent node.

Parent Node Description

The description of the parent node.

Parent Node Type

Use the drop-down list box and select the type of the parent node as “Root”.

The system displays the following in the multiline:

Node Id

The identifier of the node under the parent node.

Node Name

The name of the node in which the components are listed under the parent node.

Node Description

The description of the node. Mandatory.

Node Type

Use the drop-down list box and select the type of the node as one of the following:

  • “Root” - Select this option if you wish to create a business process.

  • “Leaf" - Select this option if you wish to map a business component under a business process.

The system displays the following:

Parent Node Id

The identifier of the parent node.

Component Sequence

The sequence in which the business components must be listed in the application.
