Importing license

This page enables to import license required for using the business component. The license is imported in XML format. The license file contains the details about the number of licenses allocated to the users in the role and the business components that can be accessed by the users.

Select the “Import License” activity under the “Deployment Administration” business component.

The “Import License” page appears.

The system displays the following in the “Import License” group box:

License File	The license file to be imported for using the business component. Click the image ‘’ provided alongside to launch the pop-up window “Upload File” which allows to upload the license file from a selected path.
Script ID	The script ID generated while importing the license in XML format.

Click the “Import” pushbutton to import the license file.

The system displays the following in the “Process License” group box:

Script ID

The script ID generated while importing the license in XML format.

Enter the following in the “Filter” group box:

System Role Name

The system role for which the license is issued.

The system displays the following in the “Filter” group box:

License Count

Indicates the maximum number of users that can be mapped under the deployment roles created by inheriting the system role defined for the customer.

Enter the following in the “Filter” group box:

Component Name	The name of the business component to be retrieved in the multiline.
Component Description	The description of the business component to be retrieved in the multiline.
Activity Name	The name of the activity under the business component.
Activity Description	The description of the activity.

Click the “Fetch” pushbutton.

The system displays the following in the multiline:

Component Name	The name of the business component available in the license file.
Component Description	The description of the business component.
Activity Name	The name of the activity under the business component available in the license file.
Activity Description	The description of the activity.

Click the “Process” pushbutton to process the license which is imported so that it can be used while creating deployment roles in “Role master” activity.
