Mapping components to organization unit

This page allows mapping desired business components to the Organization Unit created recently. The components are populated using deployment metadata scripts.

Click the hyperlinked image ‘’ in the “Components” field in the “Organization Unit Instance Details” page.

The “Map Components to Organization Unit” page appears.

The system displays the following:

OU Instance ID	The identifier of the OU instance to which the business component needs to be mapped.
OU Instance Name	The name of the OU instance.
Address	The address of the OU instance.

Enter the following search criteria:

Show

Use the drop-down list and select the following options to retrieve the business components in the multiline. The system lists the following values:

All - Select this option to retrieve all the components in the multiline.
Mapped – Select this option to retrieve the components that are mapped to the OU instance in the header.
Unmapped – Select this option to retrieve the components that are not mapped to the OU instance in the header.

By default, the system displays “All”.

Component Name

The name of the business component to be mapped to the OU instance.

Component Desc.

The description of the component.

Click the “Fetch” pushbutton to retrieve the search results in the multiline.

The system displays the following in the multiline:

Component Name	The name of the business component.
Description	The description of the business component.

Check the following box in the multiline:

Map

Check this box to map the business component to the OU instance.

Click the “Save” pushbutton to save the component mapping details.
