Mapping components to RM server
This page allows mapping business components in the selected OU to the RM server.
Click the hyperlinked image ‘’ which is displayed in the ‘Component’ field against the Resource Type “RM Server” in the multiline of the “Create Resource” tab of the “Resource Details” page.
The “Map Components to RM Server” page appears.
The system displays the following in the search criteria:
RM Sever ID |
The identifier of the RM server to which the business component is mapped. |
RM Server Name |
The name of the RM server. |
Instance / Server Name |
The instance of the server / server name associated to the business component. |
Enter the following in the search criteria:
OU Instance Name |
Use the drop-down list box and select the name of the OU Instance. |
The system displays the following in the search criteria:
Description |
The description of the OU Instance. |
OU Instance ID |
The identifier of the OU Instance. |
Enter the following:
Show |
Use the drop-down list and select the following options to retrieve the business components. The system lists the following values:
By default, the system displays “All”. |
Component Name |
The name of the business component. |
Component Desc |
The description of the business component. |
Click the “Fetch Details” pushbutton.
The system displays the following in the multiline:
OU Instance Name |
The name of the OU instance. |
OU Description |
The description of the OU instance. |
Component Name |
The name of the business component to be mapped to the RM server in the header. |
Component Description |
The description of the business component. |
Primary DB Name |
The name of the primary database associated to the business component. |
Check the following box:
Map |
Check this box to map the business component to the RM server in the header. |
Click the save pushbutton to save the component-RM server mapping details.
