Mapping deployment role to OU and component / activity

This page allows mapping the deployment role recently created to the organization unit and component / activity under that OU.

Click the hyperlinked image ‘’ in the “Enterprise Roles” field in the “Role Master” page.

The “Map Enterprise Role” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Role Name	The name of the deployment role.
Role Description	The description of the deployment role.

OU Instance Name

Use the drop-down list box and select the name of the OU instance.

The system displays the following:

OU Instance ID	The identifier of the OU instance.
OU Instance Description	The name of the OU instance.
Address	The address of the OU instance.

Show Activity

Use the drop-down list and select the following options to retrieve the activities under the component. The system lists the following values:

All - Select this option to retrieve all the activities in the multiline.
Mapped – Select this option to retrieve the activities that are mapped to the OU and the deployment role.
Unmapped – Select this option to retrieve the activities that are not mapped to the OU and the deployment role.

By default, the system displays “All”.

Component Name

The name of the component to which the deployment role has to be mapped.

The system displays the following:

Component Description

The description of the component.

Activity Name	The name of the activity to which the deployment role has to be mapped.
Activity Description	The description of the activity.

The system displays the following in the multiline:

Component Name	The name of the component to be mapped to the deployment role.
Component Description	The description of the component.
Activity Name	The name of the activity under the component, to be mapped to the deployment role.
Activity Description	The description of the activity.

Map	Check this box to map the deployment role to OU and component / activity.
Launching Activity	If you check this box, the corresponding activity will be listed in the activity menu in the application.

Click the “Save” pushbutton to save the deployment role-OU-component / activity mapping details.
