Mapping deployment role to OU and user

This page allows mapping the deployment role recently created to the organization unit and the user. Only those deployment roles applicable for the system role are available for mapping.

Click the hyperlinked image ‘’ in the “Map User OU” field in the “Role Master” page.

The “Set Role To User OU mapping” page appears.

The system displays the following:

Role Name	The name of the deployment role.
Role Description	The description of the deployment role.

Enter the following search criteria:

Show	Use the drop-down list and select the following options to retrieve the user details in the multiline. The system lists the following values: All - Select this option to retrieve all the users in the multiline. Mapped – Select this option to retrieve only the users that are mapped to the OU and the deployment role. Unmapped – Select this option to retrieve the users that are not mapped to the OU and the deployment role. By default, the system displays “All”.
User Name	The short name of the user.
Full Name	The full name of the user.
OU Instance Name	The name of the OU instance.
OU Instance Description	The description of the OU instance.

Click the “Fetch” pushbutton to retrieve the search results in the multiline.

The system displays the following in the multiline:

User Name	The user name to be mapped to the OU and the deployment role.
Full Name	The full name of the user.
OU Instance Name	The name of the OU instance to be mapped to the user.
ID	The identifier of the OU instance.
OU Description	The description of the OU instance.

Check the following box in the multiline:

Map

Check this box to map the deployment role to the OU and user.

Click the “Save” pushbutton to save the deployment role-OU-user mapping details.
