Creating user
This page enables creating new users in the system. Users can be created by giving user name, user description, password and other additional attributes if required. The user recently created can be mapped to the OU and to the deployment role through different screens.
Select the “User information” activity under the “Deployment Administration” business component.
The “User Creation” page appears.
Enter the following Search Criteria:
User Name |
The name of the user to be created. |
Full Name |
The full name of the user. |
User Status |
Use the drop-down list box and select the status of the user as “Disabled” or “Locked”. |
Click the “Fetch” pushbutton to retrieve the search results in the multiline.
Enter the following in the multiline:
User Name |
The name of the user. Mandatory. |
User Description |
The description of the user. Mandatory |
User Password |
The password of the user. Mandatory |
Full Name |
The full name of the user. |
The system displays the following:
Map OU |

Status |
Click the hyperlinked image to launch the pop-up window “User Account Status” to define user status. The user account can be either enabled, disabled unlocked using this pop-up window. The system displays the following images: ' ' ' |
Enter the following in the multiline:
Middle Name |
The middle name of the user. |
Last Name |
The last name of the user. |

The email Id of the user. |
The system displays the following:
Remarks |
Any remarks entered while creating user. |
Click the “Save” pushbutton to save the user details.
To proceed carry out the following:
Select the “Password Reminder Questions” link to define password reminder questions for the user during first time login.
