Help On LOTO / Safety Procedure

This page allows you to retrieve a lockout/tagout procedure or a safety procedure. You can specify whether you wish to retrieve a lockout/tagout procedure or a safety procedure and carry out a search using the procedure, its description, the procedure type and the procedure category. The system retrieves the details of the lockout/tagout procedure or the safety procedure based on the filter criteria entered.

Click the lens icon positioned next to the “Procedure” field in the main screen.

The “Help On LOTO / Safety Procedure” page appears.

Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for the procedure:

Help On	Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you wish to retrieve the details of a lockout/tagout procedure or a safety procedure. The system provides the options “LOTO Procedure” and “Safety Procedure”. The system displays “LOTO Procedure”, by default.
Procedure	The procedure to be retrieved (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the procedure in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all lockout/tagout procedures or safety procedures based on the option selected in the “Help On” field and which are similar to the procedure entered here.
Desc.	The description of the lockout/tagout procedure or the safety procedure (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the description in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all procedures with similar descriptions.
Procedure Type	Use the drop-down list box to select the type of the procedure. The system lists all types of lockout/tagout or safety procedures based on the option selected in the “Help On” field.
Procedure Category	Use the drop-down list box to select the category of the procedure. The system lists all the categories of lockout/tagout or safety procedures based on the option selected in the “Help On” field.

Click the “Search” pushbutton.

Based on the filter criteria entered, the system retrieves the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

Procedure	The lockout/tagout or safety procedure retrieved by the system.
Desc.	The description of the procedure.

Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the procedure.
Click the “OK” pushbutton.
