Select Clearance Request Details
This page allows you to select the clearance request for closing. Tell me more.
Select the “Close Clearance Request” under the “EAM Clearance Permit System” business component.
The “Clearance Request Details” page appears.
Enter the following field in the “Direct Entry” group box if you know the clearance request to be closed.

The clearance request to be closed (Alphanumeric, 30). |
Select the “Close Clearance Request” link, provided alongside, to close it.
To search for a clearance request
Enter the following fields in the “Search Criteria” group box to search for a clearance request:

Clearance Request |
The clearance request to be closed (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the clearance request in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all the clearance requests, which are similar to the clearance request entered here. |

Reason |
The reason for which the clearance request is raised (Alphanumeric, 150). You can enter the reason in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all clearance requests, which are raised for reasons similar to the reason entered here. |

Created By |
The login ID of the user who has created the clearance request (Alphanumeric, 30). You can enter the login ID in full or specify it partially. The system retrieves all clearance requests that are raised by users whose login IDs are similar to the login ID entered here. |
Enter the following in the “Date” field to retrieve clearance requests based on the period for which the clearance requests have been created.

From |
The date starting from which you wish to retrieve the clearance requests that have been created (Date Format). |

To |
The date till which you wish to retrieve all the clearance requests that have been created. (Date Format). Ensure that the date entered in this field is later than the date entered in the “From” field. |
Click the “Search” pushbutton.
The system retrieves the following fields in the “Search Results” multiline:

The reason for which the clearance request is raised. |

Any additional information about closing the clearance request (Alphanumeric, 255). |
The system displays the following fields in the multiline:

No. Of Permits Pending |
The number of clearance permits that are created based on the clearance request and that are pending to be completed. The system takes into account all clearance permits that are in the “Fresh”, “Approved”, “Wait For Ext” and “Extended” statuses which are raised based on the clearance request. |
Note: You can close only those clearance requests on which no clearance permits are pending.

Created By |
The login ID of the user who has created the clearance request. |
|
Name |
The name of the user. The system retrieves the name of the user only if the user name is attached to the employee code in the “Create User Roles and Rights” activity. |

Date |
The date on which the clearance request is created. |
|
Status |
The status of the clearance request which can be “Approved”. |
Check the box in the “Select” column for multiple rows of the multiline if you wish to close the clearance requests in this page.
Click the “Close” pushbutton to close the selected clearance requests.
Note: The system closes the selected clearance requests and sets the status of the clearance request as “Closed”. The system also stores the login ID of the user who has closed the clearance requests along with the date and time of closing.
To proceed, carry out the following
Select the “Clearance Request Details” link from the top of the page to close the selected clearance request.
Selecting clearance request for closing – An overview
This page allows you to select the clearance request for closing. You can directly enter the clearance request. Otherwise you can carry out a search based on the clearance request, the reason for which the request is raised, the employee ID of the user who has created the request and the dates for which clearance is required. The system retrieves all the clearance requests, which are in the “Approved” status for closing.

You can select multiple clearance requests and close it in bulk in this page.
Check the box in the “Select” column of the multiline to select the clearance requests for closing.
Click the “Close” pushbutton to close the selected clearance requests.
The system closes the selected clearance requests and sets the status of the clearance requests as “Closed”.
