Setting options for clearance permit business component

This page allow you can set the options for various fields in the “Clearance Permit” business component. Tell me more.

Select the “Option Setting” link under the “EAM Clearance Permit System” business component.

The “Option Setting” page appears.

Enter the following fields:

Create Automatic CR/CP?	Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you wish to allow automatic creation of clearance requests or clearance permits in “Work Order”, “Inspection Order” and “Calibration Order” business components. The system provides the following options:
	Request – Select this option if you wish to allow automatic creation of a clearance request from other business components.
	Permit – Select this option if you wish to allow automatic creation of a clearance permit from other business components.
	No – Select this option if you do not wish to allow automatic creation of either clearance request or clearance permit.

The system displays “No”, by default.


Close CR Automatically ?	Use the drop-down list box and select “Yes”, if you wish to allow automatic closure of a clearance request when all the clearance permits that were created based on it are closed. Select “No”, if you not wish to allow automatic closure of clearance request. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Allow Closing of Permit without Returning?	Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you wish to close the clearance permit without returning the permit. The system provides the options: “Yes” and “No”. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Allow Closing of WO without returning Permit ?	Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you wish to allow work orders to be closed even when the clearance permit that is created based on the work order is not returned. The system provides the options: “Yes” and “No”. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Allow Closing of IO without returning Permit ?	Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you wish to allow inspection orders to be closed even when the clearance permit that is created based on the inspection order is not returned. The system provides the options: “Yes” and “No”. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Allow Closing of CO without returning Permit ?	Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you wish to allow calibration orders to be closed even when the clearance permit that is created based on the calibration order is not returned. The system provides the options: “Yes” and “No”. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Allow Closing Permit If Tags Issued and Received Mismatch	Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you wish to allow closure of the clearance permit, even if the tags that have been issued for the clearance permit does not match the tags that have been received. The system provides the options: “Yes” and “No”. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

Allow Permit Extension without Extn Requested?	Use the drop-down list box to specify whether you wish to allow extension of clearance permits even if the extension has not been requested. The system provides the options: “Yes” and “No”. The system leaves the field blank, by default.

No. Of Extensions For CP	The number of extensions that you wish to allow for a clearance permit (Integer). Ensure that the number of extensions entered here is not negative. If you leave the field blank, the system displays “0”, by default.

Click the “Submit” pushbutton to set the options.
